Acquisition and Re-financing of Renewable EIS portfolios

Spring Park Capital (“Spring Park”) has been engaged by UK institutional investor to support £40m fund transfer and refinancing of its solar portfolio.     Specialist renewable investor Spring Park, used its expertise in debt capital markets, to co-lead fund raising with in-house teams and was instrumental in structuring the acquisition of EIS portfolio companies by other managed  funds. 

The portfolio financed consisted of a mixture of residential rooftop assets and commercial ground mount assets in UK and Northern Ireland.  The installations were installed in 2011-2014 and the acquisition marks a further “secondary” transaction with Spring Park involvement providing liquidity to original shareholders.    Spring Park was founded to undertake these complex technical transactions that are difficult for investors to execute without specialist knowledge.

Spring Park was founded in 2015 by Jeremy Milne and completed its first acquisition in August 2015.
