Acquisition of Solar Installations in the South West UK

Spring Park Capital (“Spring Park”) has lead the acquisition of a 9.55MW portfolio of commercial ground mounted solar installations from a UK based Venture Capital Investment Trust. Specialist renewable investor Spring Park, was supported by private investors and the transaction represents the latest in a series of acquisitions to consolidate the renewable energy power production market. 

The portfolio acquired consists of 7 separate solar installations located on agricultural land  in South West UK. The installations were completed in 2012-2013 and the acquisition marks a further “secondary” transaction by Spring Park providing liquidity to original  shareholders.

Spring Park was founded in 2015 by Jeremy Milne and completed its first acquisition in August 2015.
